Why This Dish Is So Satisfying
Cooking Hints
- Use fresh lemon juice for the best bright flavor.
- Keep an eye on the fish while broiling to avoid overcooking; it cooks quickly.
Directions
Move an oven rack about 6 inches from the broiler and preheating it. Line a broiler pan with foil for easy cleanup. Place the tilapia fillets on the pan. In a small bowl, mix the melted butter with chopped parsley and lemon-pepper seasoning. Use a turkey baster or spoon to generously brush this buttery mixture all over the fish. Sprinkle some bread crumbs on top for a nice crunch. Pop the pan under the broiler and cook until the fish flakes easily with a fork, which should take around 7 to 9 minutes. When it’s done, carefully lift the foil off the pan so you don’t lose any of the buttery sauce, pour that over the fish, and serve right away.
