What Makes This Recipe So Good
Chef Tips
- Don’t overwork the meat mixture to keep the meatloaves tender.
- Check the internal temperature with a meat thermometer; it should reach 160°F (71°C) for safe eating.
Step 1
Preheat your air fryer to 355°F (180°C). In a bowl, mix together the ground sirloin, 2 tablespoons of tomato sauce, chopped onion, oats, Italian seasoning, parsley, salt, and pepper until everything is just combined. Shape the mixture into two small loaves, about 4 1/2 inches long and 2 inches wide.

Step 2
Spray the air fryer basket lightly with cooking spray to keep things from sticking. Place the two meatloaves inside, making sure they don’t touch each other. Brush the tops with the remaining tablespoon of tomato sauce for a nice glaze.

Step 3
Cook the meatloaves in the air fryer for around 17 to 20 minutes. You’ll know they’re done when an instant-read thermometer inserted in the center hits 165°F (73°C). Let them rest for a few minutes before serving, then enjoy!
