Kitchen Tricks
- Pat the wings dry before seasoning to help the skin get crispy.
- Turn the wings frequently to avoid burning and cook them evenly.
Step 1
Put the wings in a glass or plastic bowl. Pour the hot sauce over them, then cover the bowl with plastic wrap. Pop it in the fridge and let the wings marinate for at least 2 hours, but if you have more time, up to 12 hours is even better. Give the wings a stir now and then so they soak up all that flavor.
Step 2
When you’re ready to cook, heat your grill to medium-high and brush the grate with a little oil to keep the wings from sticking. Place the wings on the grill and cook them for about 10 minutes, turning occasionally and brushing with any leftover marinade to keep them juicy and flavorful.
Step 3
Keep grilling and turning the wings for another 5 to 7 minutes until they’re nicely browned and cooked through—no pink in the middle. Once they’re done, take them off the grill and enjoy!
