Ingredients
- 3 tablespoons mayonnaise
- 1 canned chipotle pepper, diced
- 3 cooked pork cutlets
- 3 naan breads
- 2 tablespoons water
- 3 slices Gouda cheese
- ¾ cup shredded lettuce
- 3 green onions, chopped
Why This Recipe Is So Good
Best Cooking Tips
- Warm the naan slightly before assembling to make it soft and easier to fold.
- Use fresh toppings like cilantro or sliced onions to add a fresh contrast to the rich pork.
Step 1
Warm your oven to 350°F (175°C). While it’s warming up, mix the mayonnaise with the diced chipotle pepper in a small bowl until it’s well combined and creamy.
Step 2
Place the pork cutlets on one baking sheet and the naan bread on another. Lightly sprinkle some water over the naan to keep it from drying out. Pop both trays into the oven.
Step 3
Let the pork warm up for about 5 minutes, then put a slice of cheese on each cutlet and bake for another 5 minutes until the cheese melts and everything is heated through. At the same time, let the naan warm until it’s soft and pliable, which should take around 5 minutes as well.
Step 4
Once everything’s out of the oven, spread a generous layer of the chipotle mayo over each naan. Add a pork cutlet on top, then pile on some shredded lettuce and green onions. Finally, fold the sides of the naan over the filling and enjoy!
